The Sound Recorder and Editor is a simple tool to use to convert your recordings to your computer, for example cassette to WAV or MP3 files on your computer, these files can then be recorded onto CD using your favourite CD Recording Software.
This software consists of two programs:
The Sound Recorder With the Sound Recorder you can transfer a sound recording to the PC hard disk in a digital format by connecting the device to your PC and selecting the sound source, then you can burn these files onto an audio CD. Various recording sound qualities can be selected.
The Sound Editor With the Sound Editor you can easily edit a digital recording, by trimming the start and end of a recording and optionally splitting it into multiple tracks which you can then fade in and fade out also, normalization to get the levels of the tracks the same and many other options are available. For example: If you have a large gap between a recording then you can cut out that silence gap using the Cut tool.
XUpload is an advanced progress bar indicator for web based file uploads written on Perl. XUpload lets you to accept file uploads on your website and shows upload progress bar which is showing upload progress in real-time. Upload progress bar could be shown in popup window or right on the upload page. It also shows upload progress in percents, upload speed (kb/s), elapsed and remaining time, size of uploading files (useful when uploading multiple files). You can stop file upload process by just pressing stop button. If file transfer will fail during upload process - error message will be shown.
XUpload will work on any hosting, virtual/shared or dedicated and on all platforms driven by Apache Web Server - Linux or Windows.
