There appears to be some major misunderstandings as to the importance of PC maintenance for the average computer user. And, of all of the computer optimization and maintenance options available today, registry cleaning is oftentimes the most neglected.
Home owners know that they're expected to cut the grass, maintain their property, and even keep up on their home's repairs if they want it to last a lifetime. Likewise, vehicle owners fully understand that they will need the occasional tune-up; they'll need to change their oil, add gasoline, and change the tires every year or two. However, when it comes to computers -- many people mistakenly assume that buying a computer is the beginning and the end of their investment in the machine, other than the occasional feature upgrade, one-off purchase, or accessory. This couldn't be further from the truth.
