The program is designed to calculate the risk of a person suffering from a heart attack in the next ten years depending on various factors. A heart attack can be defined as the condition that occurs when a part of the heart?s wall muscles is deprived of blood. This may lead to the death of some muscle cells. This happens when blood supply isn?t regular and is blocked by fat deposits or blockages. This software is based on the Framingham Heart Study. This software can be used as guideline to take preventive measures that can eliminate or reduce the risk of a heart attack. By controlling the different factors one can reduce the risk of heart attacks.

Dell reaches for the cloud with new prototype ARM server 29 May 2012 Dell on Tuesday announced a prototype low-power server with ARM processors, following a growing demand by Web companies for custom-built servers that can scale performance while reducing financial overhead on data centers.The proof-of-concept server is code-named Copper and is the first one from Dell that is based on the ARM processor. Dell will not sell the server, but will install prototypes at specific locations so customers can kick the tires around ARM, whose processor designs are found in most smartphones and tablets today. |
