Several websites offer upload (attach) link or button for file selection. When click this link or button, you can see standard windows file selection dialog box. If a site does not offer ActiveX control for drag & drop, you can only select the file by navigating through the standard file selection dialog box. You have Windows Explorer opened and the files you want to upload are located already, the file navigation will be bothering job.
With ?General Upload Aid?, to select file you can drag the file already located in Windows Explorer to upload.
And furthermore, most of the sites support single file selection.
With ?General Upload Aid?, you can select multiple files in the Windows Explorer and attach them. The files will be compressed to one file with ?.zip? extension.
Several WebMail Sites, such as GMAIL and Microsoft Live Mail, do not allow attaching some executable files for security reason. In this case, users should rename the extension of the file manually and attach it.
With ?General Upload Aid?, extension is renamed automatically for designated file extension. Your recipient might have to rename the extension of the file to the original one to use it properly.
