xAmazons for Pocket PC 2.1
The game was invented in 1988 by Walter Zamkauskas of Argentina.
Each player has four amazons. According to Greek mythology, the Amazons were a race of warrior women. The move consists of two parts: moving one of one's own amazons. Once it gets to its final position, the amazon throws an arrow.
The strategy of the game is based on using arrows to block the movement of the opponent's.
The last player able to complete a move wins the game. Draws are impossible.

HP hopes to cut data center costs with new Gen8 servers 13 Feb 2012 Hewlett-Packard on Monday introduced Gen8, its next generation of servers, which integrate new technologies designed to cut overall maintenance and power costs in data centers while maintaining high server uptimes. Gen8 servers have new hardware and software technology for better performance-per-watt and a reduction in the manual labor involved in updating servers, HP said. The automatic updating and server load-balancing features will help save millions of dollars over a three-year span, HP said. |
